GPS MTBike Team has another technical partner: CompeGPS society which is a worldwide leader of GPS software solution for bikers, hikers,... Anyone using GPS and willing to create, navigate and analyze its trips.

The collaboration with the society compeGPS has the objective to help the staff of the team in the job of tracing of the paths, providing the most proper products and to verify possible upgrade, in Italian language.

The product that will be used is CompeGPS PC Land, combined with other softwares identified in the database of the gps mtbike team. This software will permit to help performing the best the job of analysis, calculation and vision of the tracks.

The CompeGPS PC Land is a software which permit to download freely from internet maps from every part of the world in 2 or 3 dimensions, to be able to replay all the trips with the maximum realism.

The excursions are analyzed then by the software calculating the horizontal and vertical speed, slope, times and many other data. Other developments of the collaboration between CompeGPS and the team GPSMtbike will be communicated during 2008. The GPSMtbike Team is part of the association Bicisporteam, composed by 250 athletes, recognized by the Cones and affiliate to the USPI.
